So, "Odyssey of the Giant" is a double @critawards.bsky.social finalist! If you like the cover - vote for Marta in "Best Cover Art" category. If you like the game - vote for us in the "Best Solo Game" category. Thank you so much! It's really... unreal (!) to have both ENNIE and CRIT nominations! :O

Is Sovereign Tower from @wildwits.games going to be in my top 3 video games of the year? Let's wait until December but let me tell you right now - as a writer AND a video game journalist - I love it, I recommend it, this is a brilliant game you shouldn't miss.

Ok, maybe a bit better in that form?

"I’d highly recommend Odyssey of the Giant. Play it if you like cozy, meditative, story-rich games, with prompts that give you lots of inspiration to wrap a story around. It’s more prompt-leaning rather than mechanics-leaning, and like so many solo RPGs, clearly a labour of love." Thank you!

Cape // Day 5

Put your cape around my naked body
Rock me gently to my slumber
Chase away the scary monsters
Hold me tight when I hear the thunder

Tell me stories of what once was
Colossal dreams and weary souls
So I can make peace with what I've done
Then burn for me the Unholy Scrolls

Marrow // Day 4

One marrow
Two marrow
And the day after that

Three marrow
Free marrow
For the bone sucking hag

Five marrow
More marrow
From once open crack
