The #CoverdaleBible was first printed in 1535 on #ThisDayInHistory. The first new translation into English from Hebrew & Greek (the #WycliffeBible was done from the Latin Vulgate), #MylesCoverdale used #WilliamTyndale for parts, but still relied heavily on Luther and the Vulgate.
