I've found the quintessential English village. It's not where you think. I didn't discover it in the Cotswolds, Devon, or the Lake District.

Oh no. Instead I stumbled across it in Essex. And Stock's a stone's throw from, Ian Dury reference alert, Dickie's Billericay.

Is Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds where one of my sons & his family live.
My photo is taken next to the 16C Falkland Arms in Great Tew.
I haven’t missed my other son & family’s location! They are walking distance from my home.

As I have posted a few photos from Bosham, after a visit there on Friday, I thought I would post this one. It’s of the house I posted a reflection of earlier today taken one June. The house is next to a chalk millstream and overlooks the harbour.

Because I speak almost no French, the city of Chamonix sounds to me sort of like a French version of the English word Charming, and that it is. Here's one little view in that town, looking towards Mont Blanc. For #UrbanGaze.

I just got off the train in this small village outside the city of Barcelona when I aimed my camera at the tunnel that goes through the hill. #trainstations #tunnels #villages #spain #photography
