@villageofthegiants.bsky.socialRecently, we saw a 1957 picture of #SophiaLoren and #JayneMansfield at a table (with Sophia seeming a little put-off by Jayne), and we decided to make a version of it in a behind-the-scenes pic featuring #gailgerber and #joyharmon in a booth at the #whiskyagogo while filming #villageofthegiants .

This piece is s little tribute to an incident that occurred while she was filming #thegirlsonthebeach in 1965. Gail found it tiresome shimmying snd shaking, and just sat down bemoaning it all.

Mr Caillou passed away 20 years ago today, at the age of 91.

@villageofthegiants.bsky.socialToday is both a day of joy and sadness for the #villageofthegiants community. For joy, today is the birthday of Mr #bertigordon , who would have been 104 years old today. For sadness, September 23rd was the day #timrooney passed at age 59 in 2006.
