@villageofthegiants.bsky.socialActor/screenwriter #alancaillou may not seem like the kind of man one would see associated with the film #villageofthegiants , but he is credited as adapting the screen story made by #bertigordon into the film’s screenplay. Mr Caillou passed away 20 years ago today, at the age of 91.
@kipattao1.bsky.socialHappy Birthday Bert I. Gordon. (RIP) #HappyBirthdayBertIGordon #BertIGordon #Birthday #Legends
@villageofthegiants.bsky.socialToday is both a day of joy and sadness for the #villageofthegiants community. For joy, today is the birthday of Mr #bertigordon , who would have been 104 years old today. For sadness, September 23rd was the day #timrooney passed at age 59 in 2006.
@villageofthegiants.bsky.socialHappy belated 160th birthday to Mr #hgwells ! Let’s face it, if not for his story #thefoodofthegods , writer/director #bertigordon may never have made #villageofthegiants . Enjoy Mr Wells in this little handshake-across-time with Merrie ( #joyharmon ). We wonder what he’d do with the goo.
