Long overdue stain session as I prep for a couple of upcoming fall events locally here in town.

Working on a variety of different carvings from this year including some fish, bears, pumpkins, wood spirits, an owl and those classic whovilles I love to make.🌲🎃

This book took years. Sometimes life swallowed everything, and it sat untouched for months.

But Julia never asked me to pretend. There was trust. And whenever I had space for art again, I came back.

So yes. It took years.

And now it exists. 💛
