Four tournaments for 2027 have published their schedules:

#WorldJuniors
#U18WomensWorlds
#U18MensWorlds
#MensWorlds

At all four, Canada vs Czechia is the last preliminary round game of their group.

In all cases except the WJC, it's the last preliminary round game overall.

94 days. #U18WomensWorlds

2027 #U18WomensWorlds schedule!

www.iihf.com/en/events/20...

The tournament will be in Ostrava-Poruba, Czechia, from January 8-16. All games at Winter Stadium Poruba.

For those of you keeping track at home, so far at EVERY 2027 IIHF tournament, CAN-CZE will be the last preliminary round game (except at the WJC where it's the second-last overall, but still last in their group)

#WorldJuniors #U18WomensWorlds #U18MensWorlds #MensWorlds

The longest active streak of any one matchup at the #U18WomensWorlds now goes to USA-SWE.

Being in the same preliminary round group in 2027, they are guaranteed to meet. And when they do, it will be the 6th straight U18 WWC that USA & SWE have faced each other.

#U18WomensWorlds:

With Finland being relegated to D1A for 2027, the 7-year streak of USA-FIN being played at the U18 WWC - which had been the longest active of any one matchup at this tournament - will be broken.

I anticipate the 2027 #U18WomensWorlds schedule to be released during this congress.
