Four tournaments for 2027 have published their schedules:

#WorldJuniors
#U18WomensWorlds
#U18MensWorlds
#MensWorlds

At all four, Canada vs Czechia is the last preliminary round game of their group.

In all cases except the WJC, it's the last preliminary round game overall.

For those of you keeping track at home, so far at EVERY 2027 IIHF tournament, CAN-CZE will be the last preliminary round game (except at the WJC where it's the second-last overall, but still last in their group)

At this point, which of these is more likely to happen first?

The 2026 #WomensWorlds is fully played?

OR

The 2027 #WorldJuniors schedule is finally released?

46 days to WWC.
96 days to WJC.

(To the tune of "Please Please Please")

Please, please, please
Tell us the games
Please, please, please
Release the schedule so I can stop refreshing the site
The tournament's in 3 months
We don't have a schedule
I beg you, release it soon please

#WorldJuniors

Of the three major IIHF men's tournaments in 2027, how is it the one happening in the most immediate future is the last one to release their schedule?

#WorldJuniors #U18MensWorlds #MensWorlds

I'm heading out to do some errands and fully expect the #WorldJuniors schedule to drop while I'm out.

It always happens... just watch!

Today marks 100 days until the #WorldJuniors!

... and I'm definitely not frantically refreshing the IIHF page in anticipation of a schedule drop.

102 days. #WorldJuniors

(Schedule release in 2 days? Hopefully? Please?)

Also, I love how Hockey Canada has the time to design and release a whole new jersey but we still don't have a #WorldJuniors schedule

(I anticipate September 17 release - that'd be 100 days before the tournament begins)

The #WorldJuniors are in 110 days.

The #U18WomensWorlds are in 123 days.

The #MensWorlds are in 248 days.

But guess which schedule came out first? (Not that I'm complaining)

61 days to #WomensWorlds

111 days to #WorldJuniors *

124 days to #U18WomensWorlds *

* still awaiting schedules
