@mandarinvoice.bsky.social124 5Ks in, & today's surprise: I got 3rd place in my age group at Sun's Police Pace race! Bob the race bandit, delivered the award. If I'd known, I could've picked up the pace & walked less for 1st or 2nd. The older you get, the better the odds 🤦🏻♀️
@mandarinvoice.bsky.socialAt start of my 123rd 5K at the Police Pace race w/ Bob, the "race bandit" 😄 Forget the bandit. My eyes & mind were on the Normatec compression boots, best thing the race offered. Medal on, banana in hand, legs hugged by air. @RunR2P

@mandarinvoice.bsky.socialBarely held together by KT tape today. On the bright side, it matches the outfit.
If I'm falling apart, I'm falling apart in style. 🩷💜

@mandarinvoice.bsky.social5K #121 ✔️! 2 weeks off 4 travel + a conference, but I still showed up color-coordinated — blue tape, blue top, blue shoes. My OT & I got a system😊. My Grand Canyon r2r is cancelled for 2x in 2 years; not let it derail me.
