Sending C-drama 🫂🫂 your way. That’s tough. If you want a short but (in my view) most excellent rec for a C-short to get back your watch mojo, then do check out #TheShadowSovereign. It’s only 18 episodes (of 25 minutes) and is one of my C-dramas of the year!

4/10 - I'd say not bad overlap 😁

#HowDareYou
#MeAndThee
#TheServantPrince
And #LoveBetweenLines
With #PursuitOfJade still in pursuit...

Adding
#TheShadowSovereign
#PerfectCrown and
#LoveBeyondTheGrave as well as
#BoyfriendOnDemand

#SpringFever was excellent Ahn Bo Hyun catnip 😸

Alas!! 😢

(Although plugging that C-short I mentioned before, #TheShadowSovereign, if I may - it’s literally about a powerful scheming woman who keeps a lowly scholar who’s rising up the imperial ranks as her “male favourite”, and he is absolutely on board with being her lover/lackey/pawn/bedmate.)

I’ve said elsewhere that the styling is quite reminiscent of #TheShadowSovereign, and if they can adopt a few other good things from that drama, then I’ll be happy.

This #Revenge styling really reminds me of #TheShadowSovereign. If we’re getting something like that again then I’m here for it!

Finished the #cdrama #TheShadowSovereign. This is a quick watch (18 epi at 30mins ea) & as such it seemed to move fast. I enjoyed this one. The leads were good together & the actors did great. The only think that bothered me was the music. Oftentimes it didn't fit the scene or seemed dated.
The End.

Aw shit! They done knocked him out his top knot!

#TheShadowSovereign #cdrama

#TheShadowSovereign #cdrama

The Crown Prince is horrid! He DEFINITELY doesn't need an army behind him for support, he'll burn that place to the ground!
#TheShadowSovereign #cdrama

They say it's over the grain collection, but it's really about that ego
