Despite the drop in temperature last night, I ran the lamp, rewarded with this smart Green Brindled Crescent, which is NFG. Market Harborough #vc55moths #teamoth any help appreciated with picture 3 though

Annoyed to find a Convolvulus Hawk wing on the lawn yesterday evening. This would have been from the night of 22/9 when I had three others. I spend a couple of hours each morning checking around the moth traps but this one must have been very well hidden (although not from the birds!) #teamoth

The lovely pale form of Grass Eggar Lasiocampa trifolii that occurs on the sand dunes at Gunner Point, Hayling Island, Hampshire last night #teamoth

Whitstable Garden VC15 Convolvulus Hawk-moth & Dusky Thorn from last night. Another quirk of my coastal garden is that I have had many more records of the Hawk-moth than the Thorn #teamoth @migrantmothuk.bsky.social
