I'm continuing to image supernova #SN2026aaiv in NGC 7331 from my driveway observatory. A quick look at the differential photometry has it clocking in at a healthy 11.7 magnitude.

I've spent the last week imaging supernova 2026aaiv in NGC 7331 and dabbling in differential photometry from my data. I calculated it at magnitude 12.1 last night.

Finally had a chance to seek out #supernova #SN2026aaiv in #Caldwell30 #NGC7331 (a galaxy that had another one of these last year!) and the #Nova in Sagitta, #V488 - now fading back to its original 20th mag - around 10th at the moment from a high of 7. #astrophotography đź”­ #eaa #space

Apparue la semaine dernière, elle a augmenté en luminosité entre les 5 jours qui séparent les images prises le 5 et le 10 Septembre, avec le eVscope 2 de @unistellar.bsky.social
