The Eastern Veil Nebula (NGC 6992), a massive supernova remnant located 2,500 light-years away in the constellation Cygnus. The supernova exploded just 8,000 years ago - a blink of an eye by cosmic standards...

đź” A dying star is throwing a cosmic tantrum in this combined image from NASA's Spitzer Space Telescope and the Galaxy Evolution Explorer.

In death, the star's dusty outer layers unravel into space, glowing from the intense UV radiation released by the hot stellar core.

Finally made the step towards smart telescopes, mainly for travelling, owning now a Dwarf 3.

This is my first image - the North America Nebula (left) accompanied by the Pelican Nebula (right).

M39, high overhead tonight in Cygnus. A small open cluster of young, bright blue stars. Angular dimension from our POV is 29 arc minutes (approximately the size of the full moon). Hard to get the cluster stars to pop AND maintain the intensity of the blue (cluster) stars.

IC 1396A - The Elephant’s Trunk Nebula

I posted a cropped version of this nebula before (just the elephant trunk part) but since it's been cloudy every night lately, posting a wider view of this area of the night sky!
