I may have bitten off a tedious bite to chew, bespokedly hand drawing any textures that we don't already have in-engine.

But I think the end result is pretty much always worth it 🥺

Various textures that I've drawn digitally, including rooftop slats, bricks and cobblestone, stained glass, and different colored facades of medieval style architecture.A medieval village shop building I modeled and textured in Blender, and brought into Unity for our game. The digital textures I've drawn have been UV mapped to the building to bring it to life

For now, I've got key art for mine and @waveparadigm.com's dev slimesonas! You might be able to find us and the rest of the Slime Team crew in the full game hopping around if you look hard enough c:

Left: My slime is cerulean blue in color, with a blob shape at the top made to look like bangs. I have little emerald "slimerings" since slimes don't have ears, and rimless rectangle glasses

Right: Adam's slime is gray with a big gray wizard hat, thicker eyebrows and big square orange tinted glasses for blue light filtering

Slimes of the World Demo Fact #3:

I thought drawing slime versions of famous paintings would be funny for the "museum" LOL #slime64 #conceptart #indiegames #gamedev

I wanted all these guys to have their own personalities. The leap from 2D to 3D was a beast, but using smaller projects like making accessories for NPCs was great practice in getting used to the tools 😭 #slime64 #indiedev #conceptart #characterdesign

The "Slimes of the World" demo was basically our testing ground. Wave and our tiny team were still building our fundamental systems from scratch, and I was learning Blender on the fly. I took two Maya classes in 2016, but it only covered high level basics like UV mapping lol. #Slime64

This is a screenshot of the inside of the museum in the Slime 64: Slimes of the World demo!
