A sweat bee on red & orange blanket flower. I don't see the bee often in our garden. I have only 1 blanket flower
plant. Took some cuttings yesterday and planted them in the backyard to attract this type of bees .

2 Orange n red crocosmias are still going in one of my huge pots. The crocosmias planted in the ground are done blooming for over a week.
So I am planting more crocosmias in the huge pots for next yr.
September has a colour all of its own and can be one of the most colourful and atmospheric months of the gardening year.

Mini sunflowers are perfect n cute!
I could see them easily unlike the tall big ones. Planted some in spring from the seeds that I collected from the garden last year.
