saddened by corruption

A raging storm, the ocean screams
The long-ship shudders, splitting seams
As to the port it leans obscene

Tattered #sails whip to and fro
Just splintered wood where oars would go
No hands on deck or down below
A phantom ship; a ghostly glow

Once there, next moment gone
It never stays for long
A fleeting glimpse, a sailor's song
Of an odyssey gone wrong.

I've yet to see the snow,
rising to the sky.
not falling down to the ground, getting in my eye.
I've heard it sometimes happens,
When mountains lose their minds
and plasmic flows tumble,
with searing chunks of mountain's rind.
But how could one play witness
with no chance to survive?
When the mountains rumble
and suddenly come alive.

One by one the fissure's found
several swallowed-not a sound
The wiser elk spy the ground

The talus is our folly
the impact sounds like screams
No choice, at night we must #embark
