Approximately 26,700 rhinos remain worldwide. But the five surviving species are moving in very different directions. Some are recovering, while the Javan and Sumatran rhinos remain critically threatened. Conservation action this decade matters.
🦏 Today is World Rhino Day.
Rhinos are part of the ecological systems and wild landscapes that sustain biodiversity.
Protecting rhinos means protecting their habitats, strengthening conservation and safeguarding their place in the wild.
On #WorldRhinoDay a message of thanks from our CEO and Founder Simon Jones in honour of your support and the vital conservation work it is making possible🦏🙌

Five rhino species. One shared future. 🦏
Poaching, illegal horn trade and habitat loss still threaten them.
Give rhinos space. Never share live locations or geotag sightings. Protect the landscapes they need to thrive.
Why dehorn rhinos? Rhino horn is keratin (like our fingernails). When done by trained vets, dehorning can reduce financial incentive for poachers. It's a short-term tool paired with security, ranger patrols, habitat protection, & community partnership.
