Sooo vieles ist im Argen,
unerforscht,
noch nicht allgemein bekannt.

I saw yesterday that in 1870 male scientists removed a female organ from their scientific books and so world forgot about it. Turns out to be a pretty important organ sitting just below the ovaries, feeding them special proteins for hormone development. #ReteOvarii

In 1870 male doctors & scientists studying the female body erased an organ from textbooks as though it didn't exist.

We just rediscovered it &
Turns out it's very important to the functioning of the ovaries. 🫩

Men are insufferable, self centered idiots.

I was today years old when I learned about this female organ, #ReteOvarii that was dismissed as functionless in 1870 and only now rediscovered by scientists as being important in how the ovary develops and functions. #Medsky #Gynecology #WomensHealth
