I’ve been experiencing a respiratory virus for the past four days. Don’t know what it is, but here are some symptoms: - fatigue - night sweats for three nights - yellow phlegm, sometimes with streaks of blood, continuous and seen today - joint pain so bad I had trouble getting up for two days - metallic taste in my mouth - coughing Some people don’t consider their family, friends, neighbours, and even strangers when they’re out sick, marinating their virus juices in public and bringing crud home to their family and roommates. Some people want to live healthier & longer, you know. Others are already chronically ill, and don’t need your shitty viruses 🦠 I’m not going to tell you to wear a mask or stay home, because a lot of you won’t listen, anyway. But I’m going to let you know that I lost my mother a month after mask restrictions were lifted in healthcare settings in B.C., and it gutted me. Take care of yourselves.
