National Recovery Month continues! Remember, addiction doesn’t define you.
It’s not your whole story, it’s just a chapter.
Join #SAMHSA tomorrow, September 29, at 1pm ET for “Youth and Family Recovery for the Future,” a free webinar exploring youth recovery, elevating youth voice, strengthening family engagement, and expanding youth and family peer support.
When families have access to resources, education, and support, they can help create the foundation for lifelong recovery and wellbeing.

Where you live should never determine your access to recovery support. Expanding recovery resources in rural communities helps ensure everyone has a path forward.
#RecoveryMonth2026
Recovery is stronger when communities are ready to support it.
This #RecoveryMonth2026, we're recognizing the families, providers, schools, employers, and neighbors who help create recovery-ready communities where people can access support and thrive.

Recovery is real, and it restores more than health.
This #RecoveryMonth2026, we celebrate the theme "Recovery Is Real (Restoring Every Aspect of Life)" and the positive impact recovery has on individuals, families, and communities.

Mental wellbeing is not separate from recovery, it IS recovery. Supporting mental health helps people build the resilience needed for long-term success.

A behaviour can look irrational and still have a function.
The useful question isn't always “How do I stop this?”
Sometimes it's: “What has this behaviour been doing for me?”
The behaviour is the visible part. There is usually something underneath it.
Where you live should never determine your access to recovery support. Expanding recovery resources in rural communities helps ensure everyone has a path forward.

Recovery is not one-size-fits-all. People recover in different ways, and every pathway that supports health, healing, and wellbeing deserves dignity and respect.
