In the #BattleOfDevilsHole during #PontiacsWar, on #ThisDayInHistory in 1763, #Seneca warriors dealt a heavy blow to British troops near #Niagara Gorge. The Seneca had a single wounded man, while 81 British soldiers and 21 escorts & teamsters were killed, and another 8 wounded.
