Just got a like, thank you! It’s sitting in your inbox from #pitchdis ❤️ ✨

Well, everyone, all things #PitchDis have wrapped up from my end! The pitches have been deleted from the site, the software has been tweaked for next year, and I've replied to all messages that needed a reply.

Now I'm off to get some much needed rest.

One last bit of #PitchDis housekeeping for the year - all pitches will be deleted from the password-protected portion of our site by tomorrow night.

It's (finally) here! The #PitchDis 2026 Wrap-Up.

www.pitchdis.com/2026-wrap-up

Well, I tried to post the #PitchDis wrap-up tonight but I don't think it's going to happen. Be on the lookout for it tomorrow!

...the #PitchDis wrap-up is getting too long 😂

Just started! I got a few requests from #PitchDis and I'm planning to try for #DVPit. Then I'll start on my shortlist of agents. Trying to find people interested in cozy fantasy specifically has been a bit of a hurdle. And most of my acquaintances in the genre went indie.

What I do have control over:
-Making sure agents and editors who participate in #PitchDis are legitimate industry professionals via vetting
-Providing these individuals with access to pitches you submitted

Hi everyone,

I'm working on the wrap up today, but I wanted to mention something here too. Please take a look at something on the #PitchDis eligibility and guidelines page.

I like reading all the #PitchDis stats.

Good morning, everyone.
After I get some real life work done I'm going to start working on the stats you requested. Today will be the last day I'll take requests for them as I plan to have everything #PitchDis related wrapped up by Sunday.

Queries awaaaaay! First round, anyway, including my #PitchDis requests. Shouldn't hear back before #DVPit, so maybe a few more will go out after that. 🤞 Now, if only agents could all ask for the same exact version of a submission package...

Brand new #PitchDis stats before I call it a night!

-77% of pitches received at least one request. Of those, the majority (61%) received one request.

-Six different pitches received eight requests, which was the highest number received.

Happy to receive 1 request for my #MG from this year's #PitchDis. The query is out! We'll see how this pans out :) #kidlit #amquerying #dis #nd

A couple more #PitchDis stats.

-83% of the BVM entries received requests
-As of now the least requested genre seems to be memoir with 10% of entries receiving requests

If you have any specific #PitchDis stats you'd like to know, just let me know. I can't promise I'll be able to answer all of them but I'll try.

A few requested #PitchDis stats!

-Only two entries were comedy
-We only had one entry that was labeled both science fiction and speculative
-We had five chapter books

Just to give a huge thank you and shout out to @pitchdis.com for all their hard work and effort. It was my first pitch event & what a good one! #pitchdis

#PitchDis stats time!

I'll have a lot more during the week but here's a few.

-698 pitches submitted
-696 pitches eligible
-559 people pitched
-137 people submitted two projects.

#PitchDis recovery period update 😁

-I've replied to all the pending DMs from Twitter and Bluesky. I'll start on the email inbox shortly.

-A few people got requests today 😊
