“We are committed to doing all we can to acquire this Estate in its entirety. We have a clear and ambitious vision for this historic landscape; a place where people and nature can thrive side by side. A place for nature and nation.

“We couldn’t let down all the thousands of people who have supported us by letting this opportunity pass by at the very end. To ensure we raise the funds required we will continue with our fundraising campaign to the end of October, which is our deadline to complete on the purchase.

"To support, our Trustees have agreed in principle to take out a low interest impact loan to cover any funding gap between what has been raised and the total needed. The more funds raised through our fundraising appeal, the smaller the loan will be.”
