I've been seeing a lot of horses acting cutely over the last few days!

Two horses enjoying themselves at a ford at The Lee, just outside Rothbury, one being ridden and the other led.

Horses appearing for form an orderly line. Four are standing but a fifth at the 'back of the queue' is sitting down. This is in Rothbury.

Today's painting is of autumnal trees on the banks of the River Coquet, at The Thrum. The afternoon light there always illuminates that field, giving a striking contrast to the shadowy trees. #Rothbury #Northumberland

The deadline for donations to the appeal to purchase the #Rothbury Estate in #Northumerland has been extended to the end of October - an extra month in which to raise the remaining £2.1m needed. #Rewilding #Nature #Wildlife #Conservation

"To support, our Trustees have agreed in principle to take out a low interest impact loan to cover any funding gap between what has been raised and the total needed. The more funds raised through our fundraising appeal, the smaller the loan will be.”

architecture and its later Victorian revival, these
ceramic sculptures combine a sense of history
with contemporary questions.
Designed as both striking decorative objects and
pieces to provoke thought, they explore the
ambiguities that shape our lives. Every decision

circumstance and the information available to us

This small painting is on its way to the USA as hand luggage.
