If you've never considered the #accessibility of your site, 1 in 6 visitors may struggle to use it.

Users have diverse needs and rely on a wide range of tech to access the web. Ensure all users receive the same online experience, take a free usability test: zurl.co/XRlrb

Below a National Inclusion Week logo with the theme “Build Trust, Navigate Change” text says “1 in 6 people may struggle to use your website. Take a free test to find out with HeX Productions. Prioritise your users. Prioritise Accessibility.”

An #accessibility statement helps disabled users know what they can and cannot access on your site. But it shouldn't stop there.

To build trust with users, be transparent about your journey - show how you plan to improve the digital experience and keep it updated with your progress.

An illustrated accessibility statement has the National Inclusion Week theme’s logo of build trust, navigate change overlayed on top. Text reads “Building trust through transparency and action. Don't just publish an accessibility statement, publish your commitment to meaningful change. Statements explain where you are on your digital accessibility journey. Commitments explain where you're going. Share a roadmap of improvements to your digital services

Asking the right questions and taking the time to understand people's needs and experiences can enable organisations to make meaningful progress and navigate change with confidence.

Here's some practical steps you can implement this #NIW2026: zurl.co/SDXOZ

A National Inclusion Week logo with their theme of Build Trust, Navigate Change is next to the title “Sometimes it's about asking the right questions”. Underneath is a Digital Accessibility Employee Survey, which asks the following questions: 1. Have you experienced any digital barriers at work. If yes, what? 2. What systems do you find the hardest to use and why? 3. Are there any digital improvements that could help you in your job? 4. Do you have all the equipment you need to efficiently perform your job? 5. What do you feel the organisation is doing well at with inclusion? Below is the first in a series of rating questions, asking employees to score their knowledge of creating an accessible document.

Theatre is inherently collaborative, but inclusion must be actively practised.

It means listening, considering access from the outset and creating teams where everyone feels respected and able to contribute.

A more inclusive industry is a stronger industry.

Inclusion means more than removing barriers — it means creating systems where everyone can participate, have choice and be treated with dignity.

We're proud of the progress we've made, and we know there's more to learn and do.
Next, we're continuing work on race equality and improving #Diversity data for staff and Board members to better understand #Representation and take action. 🧵(6/6)

A workplace’s break room has staff sitting together talking, in the centre of the shot is a happy male wheelchair user who is using a laptop. Text reads “National Inclusion Week encourages organisations to reflect on the barriers still impacting inclusion, build trust through honest conversations about change, take practical action that creates meaningful progress, and embed inclusion into everyday workplace culture.
