Bluffs Trail at Montaña De Oro State Park, California.

Sedimentary rocks form the cliffs and bluffs along the ocean at Montaña De Oro State Park in Los Osos, California. An inlet leads to a cave into the seaside bluff. Layers of different colored and textured rock make up the bluff. Above the cave is more rock, and a few (very small) people are walking the trail which gives one a sense of scale. In the distance is Valencia Peak and light blue sky; there is a little bit of marine mist which mutes the colors.

After you hike up the trail to Valencia Peak in Montaña De Oro State Park, you are rewarded with this view to enjoy while you having a snack.
