4/ In #EARLYDRAIN, clinicians had a say in whether the pts needed #EVD and so many of the high-grade #SAH pts had #EVD placement. So was the benefit observed an effect of the lower-grade SAH pts who only had a #LumbarDrain (LD)?

That is what the authors set out to investigate!

2/ Some of you may remember the #EARLYDRAIN study that came out in 2023. In this randomized, multicenter, international trial, pts were randomized to CSF drainage via #LumbarDrain & results were impressive!
