5/ In order to accomplish this, any pts with #LD only were excluded, leaving 211pts behind who were then divided into 2 groups:
1️⃣ those with simultaneous drainage from #EVD and #LD
2️⃣ those with drainage only from #EVD

4/ In #EARLYDRAIN, clinicians had a say in whether the pts needed #EVD and so many of the high-grade #SAH pts had #EVD placement. So was the benefit observed an effect of the lower-grade SAH pts who only had a #LumbarDrain (LD)?

That is what the authors set out to investigate!
