A wonderfully atmospheric musical evening in ancient St Martin’s church, Exeter last night; beautiful ambient, experimental and improvised work from @houseofquiet.bsky.social, @brandoninvergo.bsky.social, Archangel Complex and one other. Many thanks and congrats to all involved! 🙏🎶

Shot of the opening artist (possibly called Kade?) in St Martin’s church, Exeter. Playing an electric bass with a bow feeding into home-made electronics and a laptop.Brandon Invergo manipulating (I think) his own field recordings on CD through some equipment. Beautiful textures.House of Quiet start their set in the church, a large window behind and religious panels. John is wearing a distinctive jumper, is playing guitar and has a pedalboard on a desk. The trio Archangel Complex, final act of the night. Keyboards on the left, their multi-talented singer, trumpeter and percussionist centre stage and guitar and vocals on the RHS. A real treat in a fabulous setting.
