Our #LondonBlueChain team spotted these at a pond in Lesnes Abbey Woods. Turtles & terrapins found in the UK are Invasive Non-Native Species, often introduced via the pet trade.

Our #LondonBlueChain trainees have been helping clear parts of a large pond at Lesnes Abbey Woods

The dry summer made it easier to remove brambles and some willow. They even spotted frogs among the reeds!

The team can’t wait to see the pond refill and welcome more wildlife.

Our #LondonBlueChain team visited Loughborough Farm in Brixton to build a new wildlife pond.

They had a great time working with volunteers to create this new habitat.

Thanks to The National Lottery Heritage Fund & National Lottery players for allowing us to run these sessions.

Our #LondonBlueChain Team returned to Mosaic Clubhouse in Brixton for a creative session inking with Claire.

Rain didn’t stop the #LondonBlueChain team! Beany, Jess, Rose & Mosaic Clubhouse service users created a new pond in Brixton, funded by Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan Green Roots Fund.
