The #ProclamationLine was set in a royal edict on #ThisDayInHistory in 1763 by #KingGeorgeIII. This set aside all lands in the future USA acquired from France in the #SevenYearsWar for the #Indigenous people, angering rich land speculators in the British North American colonies.
