Tagebucheintrag vom 4. Oktober 1941

Diary entry on October 4, 1941

Today communication from the Deutsche Bank, Berlin, that I have been allowed a further 1,200 Mark in 200 Mark installments from Georg's account. Incl. of Jewish tax more than 600 Mark will be deducted from that, nevertheless it lifts a burden from me for the whole of the winter. What is the point in reckoning beyond that?
