The #CherokeeStripLandRun, on #ThisDayInHistory in 1893, showed the lie of the #IndianReservations by opening six million acres of #Cherokee grazing lands to white homesteading. It was the fourth and largest #LandRun to steal #reservation lands in what later became #Oklahoma.
