Last weekend's #bioblitz was a real feat of stamina and focus. This was a survey of #Matura Beach in the dwindling daylight, as Common terns fished just off shore. It was also an event during the #inattogether campaign by #inaturalist. #Trinidad.

#iNatTogether ran from September 18 through 28, and we asked one thing of everyone: bring someone outside with you and explore nature together. You did! iNaturalist Ambassadors hosted more than 280 events across the world — we loved them all, but here are just a few highlights.

Beetles, birds, jumping spiders, frogs, and so much more! Since September 18, more than 4,500 people have shared over 80,000 observations of more than 14,000 species for the first-ever #iNatTogether celebration.

At the time of #iNatTogether, I'd also like to promote another project I'm managing: www.inaturalist.org/projects/ide...
This project started a while ago and documents identifiable crocodilian 🐊 individuals. So far we've had >800 observations, mostly of saltwater #crocodile and Nile #crocodile.

A pair of Papilio polytes 🦋. One landing on a beggartick flower, the other hanging behind. They kept flying together before disappearing from my sight. Apparently a courting pair?

A newest observation of mine just featured in the #iNatTogether project👇
