Day 9 Tableau
Suspiria (1977)
Wasnt sure what to watch for this one. So went with this for the stained glass kill.

#NW 🎥 ‘A Field in England’ (2013) for #HQHalloween Day 9: Tableau 🖼️

If we're referencing "tender", we must be talking flesh, right?
For Day 10 of #HQHalloween, why not indulge in some light (or heavy) cannibalism?
#NW 🎥 BONES AND ALL (2022) for #HQHalloween
Day 10: Tender

Meat cute ❤️
#NW 🎥 ‘Tourist Trap’ (1979) for #HQHalloween Day 8: Telekinesis 💆
@horrorqueers.bsky.social
Day 8: Telekinesis. Filling in this major gap in my '70s horror films. THE MEDUSA TOUCH (1978) feels like trying to find an IP to cash-in on the success of CARRIE (1976) but found some great source material to give a fun, investigative thriller. Glad I gave it a go. #HQHalloween #FirstWatch #Horror
Day 7: Twist. The major twist that started them all, LES DIABOLIQUES (1955) is a wild French thriller. Even knowing the twist ahead of time it still was fun to see unfold. #HQHalloween #FirstWatch #Horror
Day 6: Train. An early Bradley Cooper vehicle based on a Clive Barker story? Sign-me up! But then, THE MIDNIGHT MEAT TRAIN had to go all 2000s music video shots and filters and CGI blood and be kinda not great. Oh well. #HQHalloween #FirstWatch #Horror
Day 5: Table. I didn't know what to pick so went with @horrorqueers.bsky.social's suggestion for GRETEL & HANSEL (2020). Beautiful film, great performances, major THE VVITCH vibes though, but still a great time. #HQHalloween #FirstWatch #Horror
Day 4: Toilet. GHOULIES (1984). All I knew going in was it was a GREMLINS knock-off & had a toilet on the poster that only had a single shot in film. Went a lot harder into satanic panic than I anticipated. I hear Ghoulies 2 is where it's at tho, so next watch? #HQHalloween #FirstWatch #Horror
Day 3: Roach. I love a low-budget horror flick, and COCAINE ROACH (2025) did not disappoint. Like sure there wasn't a plot, questionable performances, and probably shot on a camcorder but it's okay. It was fun to watch while stoned and that's all I need. #HQHalloween #FirstWatch #Horror
Day 2: Snake. BEWARE BOIÚNA (2026). I low-key loved this one, and it was the opposite of 8LeggedFreaks in that it wisely kept the creature hidden in shadow for most of the film. #HQHalloween #FirstWatch #Horror #Theaters
Updating the first chunk today because it's my first day off in a hot minute. Day 1: Spider, EIGHT LEGGED FREAKS (2002). I loved the homage to 1950s creature features but the CGI did not age well. I mean did it even look good at the time? I highly doubt it. #HQHalloween #FirstWatch #Horror
My #HQHalloween entries below, for @horrorqueers.bsky.social annual spooky season watchlist. I challenge myself to find a flick for each category that is a #firstWatch for me.
Your #HQHalloween day 9 prompt is tableau so any extravagant murder presentation applies. Judging from the download numbers, not a TON of people checked out the very campy Vincent Price film THEATER OF BLOOD, so you should rectify that
#NW 🎥 FRANKENSTEIN (2025) for #HQHalloween
