#Pesticideproduction doubled after #SilentSpring was published in 1962 & has cotinued to increase since. The first herbicide resistant weed was identified in 1970. Glyphosate went on sale in 1974. By 1996 weeds demonstrated resistance. By 2011 at least 19 weeds were #glyphosateresistant.
