And now #GerritWGong is telling us we need to scrimp and save to buy our own temple clothes. Yes, the wealthiest religion in the world, @churchofjesuschrist.social, is telling its patrons that they gotta buy their own way into the temple. I though Jesus had strong opinions about money & temples.

#GerritWGong starts off #GeneralConference with a meandering talk about how awesome the church is doing with its temple stuff. This is setting a tone for the entire conference and what they'll focus on. Go to the temple and don't jump ship, even though we all know it's sinking.
