A match largely dominated by France but they struggled to create good chances. Korea had a couple moments from turnovers. They finished one and sent the other wide.

No reason for France to panic but they did look to struggle with a compact defense.

At other end, a loose backpass from a France defenders falls perfectly into the path of a Korean attacker, but she pulls her shot wide. A GREAT chance for Korea goes wanting.

Korea gets some pressure after a turnover, but they're not really able create any danger. France win the ball and attempt a shot from their own half, but it goes way wide.

The second half has commenced, and France and Korea have largely picked up where they left off. France is setting a higher line and putting more pressure on Korea's defense. They've controlled the opening 5 minutes of the half.

France were definitely in control for the bulk of the match, but it took them awhile to unsettle Korea's defensive structure. Korea's opener was definitely against the run of play and a bit fluky. France really imposed themselves as half wore on.

A turnover gives Korea an excellent counter opportunity, but they're slow in developing, and it ends with an overhit through ball that is collected by Alyssa Fernandes. A reminder Korea can still be dangerous.
