Sapphire blue.

A precious gem in my garden last week.
Blue hydrangea against blue sky.

A puff ball cluster of blue hydrangea flower or corymb with different shades of blue . A few large serrated bright green leaves with visible veinings are underneath the flower ball. A little section of another flower ball is visible on bottom left corner. The plant is reaching up to the blue sky. Parts of the flower n leaves are highlighted by the morning sun.

And I'm feeling Bluuuueee..

Indigo blue mophead hydrangea doing it's thing in my front garden a week or so ago. I grew some cuttings n planted 4 in the backyard last week. Hopefully it those would do ok next yr.

This Rose of Sharon..

I have no shame, I asked my nextdoor neighbor for some pollen from his rose of sharon to cross pollinate with my red rose mallows and orange hibiscus ..ha. I'll give him a few keikis if I get some seeds later.🤣🌺😅

A blushing pink Rose of Sharon with some darker pink strips on the edges of the 5 petals. The flower has a maroon center and a chunky pistil with anthers that are covered with creamy white pollen n stigmas. The leaves appear yellowish in this pic.
