So here's another one, rather like a spiderman. Town is changing rapidly, but SO not for the good. Hideous rabbit-hutches, businesses that close for lack of custom, and greed everywhere. Culture? Wat culture! #theferrisfiles #ferrisphotos #Cambridge #metaphorsaplenty

No real idea why but I like to snap pics of workers, especially in hi-viz. Need to get some more artwork made. it's like a ever-growing garbage partch in the middle of the ocean! Seriously. No sales this year. #theferrisfiles #ferrisphotos #mycottenham #frustration

Listening to Sandinista! It's so good. I had forgotten. This visitor rushes across the studio window. Finally snapped him. Slept like a log last night. So unusual. And the dreams were mad. #theferrisfiles #ferrisphotos #metaphorsaplenty #mycottenham

The set might be called changes 9that have no point maybe)? The Nafton is basically closed, but will not be 'corrected' till at least 2029! This town is becoming a real mess. But most don't care! #theferrisfiles #ferrisphotos #Cambridge #metaphorsaplenty

Accident photographs can be interesting; after uploading a batch of pics from town, I pressed the shutter and got this. My desk tends to get clogged with all sorts of art-making stuff. Thus. #theferrisfiles #ferrisphotos #metaphorsaplenty #mycottenham

Thus. I've been reading Grimm fairy tales. Some of them are SO weird. One called 'The Mouse, The Bird and The Sausage.' They all lived together in a little house, but it ended in tragedy when a dog ate the sausage! #theferrisfiles #ferrisphotos #mycottenham #metaphorsaplenty

Wanted to capture this incey-wincey, but it ran away every time the camera got close. Magpie and squirrel visitors yesterday as well. They were easier, though the latter moved like lightning! #theferrisfiles #ferrisphotos #mycottenham #metaphorsaplenty

A snap of my sketchbooks. They should be called something different as each page is a fully finished artwork, not an experiment or development. I think there are maybe 100 now. Yes, I am mad. #theferrisfiles #ferrisphotos #mycottenham #metaphorsaplenty

Hi to my new followers. Thanks. I really needed your interest. This is me as artist-in-residence at Homerton 2000. The century started well; went badly downhill after that! I will climb up again! #theferrisfiles #ferrisphotos #nostalgia #metaphorsaplenty

Got a bag of toys from a charity shop in Ely. Love this: a dino on wheels. Just thik - someone to design this, a factory had to prototype, then an assembly line had to churn out the product. I taught D/T. #theferrisfiles #ferrisphotos #mycottenham #metaphorsaplenty

Always fun to snap the distorted. I should maybe stand outside Downing Street then? 'Maltese' on Lingopie has been great so far, though a couple of their walking tour vids have been less than perfect. #theferrisfiles #ferrisphotos #mycottenham #metaphorsaplenty

Andrew tells me that some of my 'recent' artwork has been better than some wtf images posted before. Thing is the folder is labelled 'Jan 2020,' so there's a time-shift. Any time is better than now! #theferrisfiles #ferrisphotos #mycottenham #metaphorsaplenty

6 posts because I got 5 notifications this morning. Not the best strategy, but all things count the same nowadays if we believe the woke hype! First time to walk to the end of the Smithy Fen lane. #theferrisfiles #ferrisphotos #mycottenham #metaphorsaplenty

And the trumpet shall sound... Rampton church organ. Possible cotenant getting cold feet, sI'll hae to pour mre money down the [redacted] drain. 'Goodlord looks ominous,' he tells me. Yet another licensed snooper. #theferrisfiles #ferrisphotos #metaphorsaplenty #frustration

Church and State. Off to collect some new boards for RampArts. I feel the Fates conspiring to get me out of here, but that involves TPS actually coming up with the darn dosh. It's my [redacted] money! #theferrisfiles #ferrisphotos #metaphorsaplenty #frustration

Thee cnsstrruction lobby is strong, theclimae action lobby is weak, so we get [redacted] some more. Will grinning Andy change anything? It's as likely as if the Loch Ness Monster exists! Sigh. #theferrisfiles #ferrisphotos #mycottenham #metaphorsaplenty #frustration

Some of the 'source material' is beyond me now. What on earth was it when it started? Will have a crack at it later; tomorrow afternoon probably! It is string covered in some sort of caoting, waxy or resinous. #theferrisfiles #ferrisphotos #metaphorsaplenty #mycottenham

OMG! I wish I had never started this. new cotenant. Wants space in the garage, so have pulled out boxes to be gone through. 3 hours working on it so far. I have held on to some rubbish. Sigh! #theferrisfiles #ferrisphotos #mycottenham #metaphorsaplenty

Hathor. Packaging from a CowParade present. Forgot all about it, but going to paint it now, with a sort of Pasipae, I should think. Wasn't sure the photo would take, but it#s turned out multi-referential. #theferrisfiles #ferrisphotos #metaphorsaplenty #mycottenham

Couple of days ago. Why had I never been before? Should be downstairs 'sorting out' the house ready for a new cotenant. I have so much art material which will never be used. Sigh. #theferrisfiles #metaphorsaplenty #ferrisphotos #Cambridge
