Not only intrigued that THE EXORCIST: MARTYRS really does appear to be a direct sequel to EXORCIST III, but fascinated that Johansson's character in-universe mentions Jeffrey Dahmer, who was (in real life) obsessed with EXORCIST III.

Dang, this franchise is nearly as convoluted as The Amityville Horror. Apparently we've got:
#TheExorcist (1973)
#ExorcistIITheHeretic (1977)
#ExorcistIII / The Exorcist III: Legion (1990)
Exorcist: The Beginning (2004)
Dominion: Prequel to the Exorcist (2005)
