Dang, this franchise is nearly as convoluted as The Amityville Horror. Apparently we've got:
#TheExorcist (1973)
#ExorcistIITheHeretic (1977)
#ExorcistIII / The Exorcist III: Legion (1990)
Exorcist: The Beginning (2004)
Dominion: Prequel to the Exorcist (2005)
1/2

It was a WILD RIDE!

"The Exorcist III" is the only one of the sequels or prequels that has worked so far...

I'm not cool with the fact that whether Good or Evil triumphs depends on *which* Linda Blair gets beaten to death
#ExorcistIITheHeretic #FilmsOnFilm #TCMParty

😂 We so badly need Bill Murray to come in and make a good zinger right about now...

And now we present...The Ballet of the Locusts featuring Regan! #TCMParty #FilmsOnFilm #ExorcistIITheHeretic

When the Cardinal was giving Father Lamont his assignment, he said that some were accusing the late Father Merrin of heresy. Also, after Lamont talked about his vision of flying with Pazuzu he was accused of being a Satanist

And then Orson Welles whispered … “Pazuzu.” #TCMParty #ExorcistIITheHeretic #FilmsOnFilm

Pazuzu quickly found a home being an agent in Hollywood.

I got the impression Sharon's been a sleeper agent this whole time. She stayed away for two years out of fear, but then was irresistibly drawn back to Regan

To be honest, when you realize that John Boorman made "Zardoz," the nuttiness of this film shouldn't be too much of a surprise.

No one ever gave Dr. Gene the "Don't call for help, yell 'FIRE!'" lecture?

Considering the changes in the script that happened every time she turned around and the punch clock acting of Richard Burton and Linda Blair's tardiness and the delays...she just wanted it to be over.... she'll always be my Kai Wynn. though. #DS9 . #TCMParty #FilmsOnFilm #ExorcistIITheHeretic

Boorman, for making it.

And that it would be, by far, his most famous role.

That didn't look good. I hope they have GEICO insurance or Progressive. #TCMParty #FilmsOnFilm #ExorcistIITheHeretic

To prevent anyone from making a sequel.
