Some English villages have simple houses that are like small works of art. Who am I kidding, they all do. They are like galleries. This in a Surrey village a few miles from my home.

The last house in the lane leading to the millpond looks out over fields. It faces south and catches the evening sun deliciously as the shadows from trees fall across the front. Friends live there and often invite me in for coffee.
