When the Moon tips over from night to morning.
I went into the garden and spotted that Madam Moon hadn't gone to bed yet and took multiple shots. I wasn't sure which to use but went with this. Did I choose correctly? I have closer ones but this amused me.

The waning Harvest Moon appears to rest on the tip of a rusty red Acer Palmatum/Japanese Maple leaf that grows in a pot on my garden patio. The sky is a clear light blue.

I thought that the Harvest Moon had done with us after a day of misty rain and cloud but later the skies cleared and she gracefully made one final appearance before bed time.

The Harvest Moon, not quite full and on the wane, hangs in a suddenly clear sky above my village in Surrey, near the Kent and Sussex borders about 20 miles south of London.

The Harvest Moon was dropping heavy hints last night that it was curtain call time after a week of clear skies, as clouds rolled in. Tonight it is drizzling - solid cloud cover. So, here is one I banked from last night.

A passenger jet passes in front of the waxing Harvest Moon in the early evening blue sky just after sunset over my small village in south-east England. The Moon is now 84% lit and will be full at the weekend by which time it will, of course, be shrouded in clouds, as is traditional. The best views will still be from a plane - on the port side. At least if you are flying south.

Tentative, she shuffled her steps until she found herself standing at pond's edge. Tight inside the skates, her feet felt the cold of the snow as she'd made her way to where nature's glass gleamed in the evening #moonscape, lit by shining shards of silver through the bare bones of surrounding trees.
