Make work fit around your personal life, not the other way round.

I must admit, I find it very difficult to do so. In fact my advice is 'think very carefully'. If it was my own child, I would put them off.

That operation you are waiting for a date on. Just call the hospital and tell them the dates you cannot do due to exam prep for the kids.

I have been stood doing a duty at work in a school and I realised that I am absolutely knackered. My brain is fried! It is only 11am and two weeks into term.

Teaching should not be this hard!

I wonder how long it will be before I crumble under the pressure? 🤷‍♂️

If a school leader is sending emails at night (even though they should not expect a reply until work time)...

It proves that there is not enough time in the day to do the tasks expected of them.

Just think what that means for you as a normal teacher?

I am finding that doing basic stretching in my classroom before the day begins is quite a nice thing.

It helps me focus for the day ahead and to try and get through the day!

Day one of week two today and it felt better at work (School).

It is day's like this when I think that I might just be able to make it to the option of taking my pension.

Totally knackered today!

I am usually really good at sleeping and not having a racing mind but last night I woke at 330pm and did not sleep again.

I have been trying to work out how to only work 48 hours per week in my teaching job. I am only paid for 32.5. Too much being added!
