#blueskyartshow #lights from all over. Salvation downtown, a spin on the pier, and the only lonely road I've ever known.

A long exposure of the Ferris wheel on the Santa Monica pier. (They run the lights until late in the night.) Here with the encircling coaster tracks it calls to mind a sci-fi reactor of some kind, glowing with barely-contained energy. I was looking for any substance behind the message, but I guess you've just got to take it on faith... A remote 2-lane running from Valencia out to Ventura. Also (turns out) a really lousy road to get a flat tire on 😬

#blueskyartshow gently #undulating in the breeze. Stars spangling at Notre Dame & the Dan Band rockin' you hard at the Nokia in LA.

The US flag, almost fully extended in the wind with the sun shining through. A compromised symbol to be sure, but the colors are pretty sharp. Streamers, confetti, and the candy cane of love. Big finale from a Dan Band Christmas show.
