"Beware the whirlsquig"

An orange squig mini with black claws and a toothy grin has a tau rocket pod mounted on its back and a cracked targeting scope on its shoulder. One side of the pod has Squig written on it in Tau, the other has an ork idol in green. It started life as Tor Garadan and with the power of Greytide studios, green stuff and a dream, he will now become my "Grimnar's Mark" Terminator captain.(basically means he can lead wolf guard terminators) view from the left, striding to his rock, heroicly.View from the rear. And finally, view from the left.

"Wings of an Angel"

"Centuries have passed, but still Morvenn Vahl fights the enemies of the Imperium. Yet the years have taken their toll, her armour, once gleaming, is caked in verdigris and rust, her leather gown is dirty and stained. Nevertheless, with her combi bolter & flamer, and her spear now infused with Holy Fire, she strikes fear into the hearts of the heretic, the mutant and the unbeliever. However, the most striking thing one notices about her are the angel wings. Has she ascended to sainthood like so many before her, or does she still exist on this plane, the wings only a visible sign that the Emperor is with her?""Centuries have passed, but still Morvenn Vahl fights the enemies of the Imperium. "You must see it as an upgrade!” they said.

“It will make you stronger.” they told Xavier. “You won’t get into trouble that much after the procedure.” they promised him. “You will serve the Emperor as best as you can.” they persuaded him. “It’s going to be the best version of yourself, you’ll see.” they concluded. X-101 remembers almost nothing of Xavier anymore. "Hit em with the big hammer"

An Ultramarine from Warhammer 40k swinging a large, kitbashed, experimental thunder hammer. Its exposed wiring and glowing hot metal is clearly tech heresy. The rear of the model shows the Space Marines’ power pack, and purity seal attached to their belt ammo pouches. The flamer is still glowing from use, with the fire light illuminating the Space Marines facial cybernetics and his grim expression.Even with his armour, the Space Marine has to take a wide stance to balance the weight of the modified hammer against their red-hot flamer

"Gitarii"

Ad Mech Dominus Kitbashed with a Gloomspite Gitz Goblin. The head has been swapped with a hooded goblin head, the axe on the staff has been swapped with a big moon standard and the servo skull replaced with a goblin moonskull. Many little mushrooms are sprouting all over the miniature too. Painted with a red cloak, green skin, yellow moon and a mix of steel and brass metallics. The plasma gun has glowing blue coils and the bottles on it's back have green liquid inside them. Ad Mech Dominus Kitbashed with a Gloomspite Gitz Goblin. It's #wipwednesday! I got sick over labor day weekend so I didn't get to do a whole lot, But I did filler prime the possessed bunker, worked on the False lady diorama, and started testing options on a Skulz Tech-Priest in need of a backpack for the #DragonsLairPaintingChallenge.
#Nerdlings #wip

A possessed bunker by Doctor Spork coated in Seymour Filler primer which is present along with the print on top of a flattened cardboard box with the remnants of "More Warhammer More Often" tape on it Grass is visible underneath the cardboard.A wooden plinth that has been carved down and has had miliput and various Bits applied to it with a miniature from Archon Studio Dungeons & Lasers Fantasy Miniatures Set https://archon-studio.com/shop/products/dungeons-lasers/fantasy-miniatures-set. Specifically: Lady of the Lake on top. The idea is a "false lady of the lake" luring an unsuspecting knight into a maw waiting in the water. Sitting on top of a well used grey silicone mat with dust and shavings all over it.Various Technological looking and gear themed bits surrounding a Tech-Priest (without their original backpack) from the Skulz program - WD245 June 2000 sculpted by Alan and Michael Perry according to: http://www.solegends.com/citle2000/skulz/skulzadeptus/index.htm all on top of a black textured desk surface.

Nope. I am currently painting a model for #DragonsLairPaintingChallenge, building something for #miniofthemonth, & trying to sort out numerous units for a Praetorian Guard project which has grown arms and legs.
You'd think that this was enough but, oh no, yesterday I had a silly idea©.
