A ghastly gathering of Nighthaunt, haunting the cold mountainside.
Had a lot of fun painting these ghosties, went for more of a traditional spooky old photograph Sepia color scheme for them. đŸ‘»

The Anvil Industry 'Lightning Witch' painted up using @thearmypainter.bsky.social John Blanche range (and Plate Mail Metal!). Happy enough with that, though she isn't quite what I had in mind; I should have kept my palette tighter, and leaned into the white/bone or just gone red.

Yep, I think that's a wrap on this little project! I've really enjoyed putting this together, and I can't believe it's only taken five days! Now back to the drawing board to plan the next creation! #Nerdlings #JHBackdrops

I wanted a different look for my Praetorian Guard, so built this as their main battle tank.
A combination of a British Mark I tank, the turret from a Leman Russ, and with Rogue Trader Janus Draik as its aristocratic commander.

After cleaning up the base rims I had to give Rein & Raus the glamour shot treatment.
So here they are, high above the city, sneaking closer to their target, about to finish the job. Nobody will ever find out they were there.

I was prepared to give up a little historical accuracy to knock out these US Airborne with @thearmypainter.bsky.social Speedpaints, but after a bit of experimenting, they came out on the closer side of 'close enough.' Quite happy with that - an army would look ace.

Uh-oh.

Just a quick Skaven Grey Seer for a palette cleanse. Also gives me an excuse to experiment with the #jhbackdrops

What are you other #nerdlings working on presently?

A Skaven Grey Seer, a large anthropomorphic rat-man stands atop a broken bell. He wields a rusty knife and a verdigris staff. To be an inquiring mind is deeply imprinted into a Skitarii’s personality. That is resulting in a certain percentage of Skitarii who are lost due to analysing strange occurrences rather than running away where it would’ve been advisable.

Apart from the damage to their souls and minds Necron Warriors show a lot of physical damage to their “new” bodies.
Countless Canoptek Constructs are tasked with repairs and maintenance, like the towering Reanimators.
