i'm going to spend the rest of 2026 doing the final bits and bobs to book 1 and 2 ( #Dogwood2 will be out in december btw), and hit book 4 in the new year!

went a little over-goal and did 3 chapters instead of 2 because one of them was kinda shrimpy. but it put me ahead enough i MIGHT finish transcribing the whole #Dogwood3 draft tomorrow.😳

only typed half my goal cuz i didn't get a chapter in before naps. rather than run myself ragged trying to do a full 5k over lunchtime, i am gonna break for now and maybe come back after the kids are in bed for the night. #Dogwood3

goal today is to hit 83k transcribing #Dogwood3. the 95k total word count is a best-guesstimate, but i am on track to finish before monday. lfg!

Setting a goal to finish #Dogwood3 this weekend, then spending the rest of the year doing super fine comb-throughs of books 1-2, taking a LONG break (3-4 weeks) in December, and then going straight into book 4 draft 2 in January, setting it aside to polish book 3, and then finishing 4 in spring. 🥵

typed 1 #Dogwood3 chapter this morning then went back and consolidated a chapter with 2 sex scenes into one sex scene, cutting 177 words and hopefully improving flow/tension.💪

made 2k words progress typing up #dogwood3 but now it's back to cleaning the house to get ready for weekend trip 🥵

XL chapter im transcribing rn actually has TWO sex scenes separated by an emotionally heavy conversation so i had to break in the middle and make a big ass bowl of carrots to sustain myself💀
