The Isle in the Silver Sea 📖🎧 2.5⭐️- this wasn’t for me. It was a creative idea but I was bored most of the book. I didn’t like one of the MCs at all and hated how the other MC was treated. To me the constant side quests ruined the pacing . #Booksky #Diversebooksky #fantasy #sapphic

@alexandraisobel.bsky.socialWhat makes my lastest book culturally diverse?
A Black Canadian heroine with Caribbean and African Nova Scotian roots. Her father is from Trinidad, and her mother’s Nova Scotian lineage reaches back to Birchtown and the underground railroad.

The Never Tilting World 📖🎧 4.5 ⭐️- Rin is one of my favorite authors and they always manage to make YA feel dark and high stakes. 4 POVs are hard to do and I definitely enjoyed one side of the story more than the other but this was so good!

Junkyard Cats 🎧 2.5 ⭐️ Imma try #2
His to Worship 📖 3⭐️ Great plot but dragged a bit. The MCs had such a cute dynamic.
Storm Breaker 📖🎧⭐️ A lot of drama but not a lot of answers. Plenty of chemistry between the MCs though.
